A video you watch is entertainment. A project you finish is a skill.
Anyone can collect tutorials. Almost nobody finishes them. A folder of half-built files is the most common thing in creative work, and it is the reason talented people stay stuck.
So these books are built the other way round. You read a short chapter, then you build the thing the chapter was about. The Hub marks what you built, tells you exactly what to fix, and only then opens the next chapter. Nobody learns alone either: a companion walks through the pages with you, a tutor that has read every page answers at 3am, and the author himself is one booking away.
This is a school that comes inside a book, not a shop that sells one.

“The honest truth is this: knowing Blender is worth nothing until you finish something with it. The reader who closes this book and opens a tutorial instead is no better off than before. The reader who opens an empty file tonight and builds one small, slightly ugly object of their own choosing has already crossed the line that most people never cross.”
